Treasured memories

Peter. I will always remember you because of so many things that we all did as a group of friends, Arthur; George; Fred and one in particular remains in my head, we were at a dance at Aquila and I was driving Arthur home because of too much to drink when you stopped your car in front of me and you got out and came and asked me to drive you home as you were well over the limit, poor old Arthur had to drive himself home as I got out and took you and Alice home to your children without a thought the Arthur was also over the limit, but your children would have been devastated if they had lost their father to an accident. I also remember all the good times we had in Padstow and especially the last time when Arthur was upstairs confined to bed due to his illness and we all danced the May Day dance round the garden with me playing that accordian. You have always been a true and kind friend and you will be missed. Sleep well dear friend until we are all together again. Carole
